Join us for a field trip or group visit and experience exploration, learning, and joy through play. Children of all ages, stages, and abilities are invited to investigate, create, problem-solve, and connect through interactive exhibits and optional educational experiences designed to spark curiosity. Rather than traditional classroom-style instruction, our programs encourage learning through hands-on exploration, guided questioning, experimentation, and discovery.

Above & Beyond Children’s Museum’s field trips and group visits offer educators and community groups opportunities to connect curriculum goals and early learning standards with meaningful, hands-on play. Through immersive exhibits, educator-facilitated experiences, and open-ended exploration, children build skills, make discoveries, and engage deeply with the world around them. Field trips and group visits must be reserved in advance for groups of 10 or more and are available Tuesday–Friday.

Explore More!

Looking to add even more exploration to your visit? Our Explore More experiences invite learners to engage with stories, science, creativity, and discovery through hands-on, play-based activities facilitated by our museum educators.

Availability varies based on the day of your visit, museum staffing, and other scheduled museum programming. If you do not see an Explore More experience available during booking, don't worry! There may be a public program taking place during your visit that your group is welcome to participate in as part of their museum experience.

  • Story Time

Through engaging read-alouds, movement, conversation, and playful participation, children explore a theme of your choice while building early literacy, language, and social-emotional skills.
