New Partnership with Children’s Museum of Fond du Lac Offers Added Benefits to Members and Welcome Back Pass Holders for First Phase of Reopening

SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (March 3, 2021) – Above & Beyond Children’s Museum is set to reopen on March 13 following a year-long shut down due to the pandemic. The museum reopens with limited attendance, new hours of operation and even more rigorous safety and sanitation measures.

In an effort to control attendance and share appreciation, limited access will be provided to Above & Beyond Children’s Museum upon initial reopening. During the three-month reopening phase from March 13 through June 13 existing members (active as of March 15, 2020) and Welcome Back Pass ($45) holders are able to make reservations for a two-hour time-slot. Starting June 14, the general public is welcome to visit the museum for a reservation fee or with the purchase of a new membership.

As an added benefit, active members and Welcome Back Pass holders have complimentary admittance to The Children’s Museum of Fond du Lac through June 13 and discounted membership promotions.

“The caring and proactive thinking of our generous donors and the creativity of our staff has resulted in a collaborative Welcome Back Program that will support families while they return to our museums,” noted Andrea Welsch, executive director of the Children’s Museum of Fond du Lac.

The Welcome Back Program is made possible with financial support from lead sponsor Efroymson Family Fund and contributing sponsors Frank G. & Frieda K. Brotz Family Foundation, Mountain Dog Media, and National Exchange Bank Foundation.

“We are so excited that this partnership program will support children and families and help them feel comfortable and safe in our spaces once again,” said Jackie Erdman, executive director of Above & Beyond Children's Museum. “Reopening with the Children’s Museum of Fond du Lac offers community families another outlet for imaginative play as the world heals.”

Reservations will be available online at abkids.org and cmfdl.org. Membership ID or Welcome Back promo code are required at time of reservation. Hours of operation subject to change.
