Above & Beyond Children’s Museum institutes a new Family Access Program increasing accessibility to its learning resources and programs for low-income families. As part of the Museums for All national initiative, a signature access program of the Institute of Museum and Library Services administered by the Association of Children’s Museums (ACM), Above & Beyond Children’s Museum builds upon its commitment to seek, include and welcome all audiences with affordable membership and reduced daily admission fees.

NEW MURAL PROJECT IN DOWNTOWN SHEBOYGAN DESIGNED TO IGNITE HAPPINESS

Local student Madeline (Maddie) Green is set to embark on a “whale of a project” during her junior year with the 2018-19 Innovator Fellowship Program, a collaboration between North High School and Jake’s Café Creative Community. Green is set to unveil “The Happiness Project”, an initiative designed to address serious stressors that affect community youth, with a massive inspired mural to be painted on the north wall of Above & Beyond Children’s Museum in downtown Sheboygan. A special event to launch the mural project is set for Tuesday, May 7 at 4pm at Above & Beyond Children’s Museum. Open to the public.

Toddler Barnyard opens at Above & Beyond Children's Museum

The Toddler Room at Above & Beyond Children's Museum is set to transform to the Melitta S. and Joan M. Pick Toddler Barnyard. The new exhibit on the second floor will feature a multi-level barn play-structure and slide, toys that encourage development of children ages 0-4 in the areas of gross motor, fine motor and cognitive skills.

Above & Beyond Children's Museum's Executive Director Emily Rendall-Araujo has achieved the Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) designation by CFRE International. Rendall-Araujo joins the more than 6,300 CFRE-designated professionals worldwide. Each one has met a series of standards set by CFRE International which include tenure in the profession, education and demonstrated fundraising achievement.

Melitta S. and Joan M. Pick Charitable Trust Donates Funds Supporting Renovation of Toddler Room

NEW EXHIBIT AT ABOVE & BEYOND CHILDREN’S MUSEUM CREATES A PLAYFUL, INTERACTIVE CELEBRATION OF WISCONSIN’S FARMING CULTUREThe Toddler Room at Above & Beyond Children's Museum is set to transform to the Melitta S. and Joan M. Pick Toddler Barnyard. The new exhibit on the second floor will feature a multi-level barn play-structure and slide, toys that encourage the development of children ages 0-4 in the areas of gross motor, fine motor, and cognitive skills. The project is made possible with the financial support of Melitta S and Joan M Pick Charitable Trust, a charitable organization based in Milwaukee, Wis., focused on gifts, grants, or loans to other organizations. Project partners include local businesses Custom Built Inc. and Quasius Construction.

SHEBOYGAN, Wis.  (September 5, 2018) - Above & Beyond Children's Museum hosts 3rd annual fundraiser Tastefully Childish, a “Night at the Museum”-style event, on Saturday, September 29 from 6-10pm. The museum comes to life as 150 guests delight in interactive exhibits, hands-on activities and festive music while attendees explore experiential food and beverage stations hosted by local restaurants, wineries and breweries. Food pairings are curated by area chefs featuring childhood food favorites with a mature culinary twist.
