We are so excited for you to visit us and let your imaginations abound! While Above & Beyond will continue to be a place of wonderment, fun, and discovery, we have put measures in place to keep our families and caregivers as safe as possible within our space. Click here to learn more.

We are now open to the general public! Advanced reservations are required and available based on capacity.

Thursdays: 9:00am-12:00pm; 1:00pm-4:00pm
Fridays: 9:00am-12:00pm; 1:00pm-4:00pm
Saturdays: 9:00am-12:00pm; 1:00pm-4:00pm 
Sundays: 9:00am-12:00pm 1:00pm-4:00pm

***Note: The museum will be open on August 7th from 1-4pm.

The museum will be closed 12:00-1:00pm daily for cleaning and disinfection.

At Above & Beyond Children’s Museum, our mission is to provide “A special place for children and their families, where education and fun connect through exploration & discovery”. We support our mission statement by offering over 10,000 square feet of hands-on, interactive exhibits for those of all ages to enjoy. So whether you’re making impressions on our life-size Giant Pin Screen, voyaging in the USS Efroymson Ship, or playing Teacher in our 1900′s schoolhouse, our fun yet educational exhibits will take your imagination.

The wait is over! ABCM is now open to the general public.

SHEBOYGAN, Wis.  (June 15, 2021) – Let’s Play! Above & Beyond Children’s Museum reopens for general admission and members on June 17 following more than a year-long facility shut down due to the pandemic. In addition to indoor offerings, the museum continues to host new Play Is Healing events and plans for a new outdoor playground set to open in Spring 2022.
Since closing its doors in March 2020, the museum reopens to the public. The multi-level museum located in downtown Sheboygan will be open Thursday-Sunday from 9am-4pm. Advanced registration will be required for two-hour timeslots and can be made online at Admission is $7 and memberships are available starting at $40. Members, passholders and gift certificates can be used to make a reservation by calling 920-458-4263.
“We are so excited to return to supporting children and families and help them feel comfortable and safe in our indoor spaces once again,” said Jackie Erdman, executive director of Above & Beyond Children's Museum. “The museum is an outlet for truly imaginative play that is critical for children to benefit from as the world heals.”
